Salt Creek Restaurant in Suwannee

Good food! The Sunday chicken special was delicious. We also brought our own fish in one night. You catch/clean, and they'll cook it for you. Blackened and fried were both great!

One of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in years . Unfortunately I can't really say anything positive about any food item we ordered. Had a party of 6 was a beautiful day and a fantastic spot . The restaurant is on the water with decking around back a really great spot. The food was anything but fresh and small portioned . I got the oystersand crab cake. It tasted like it was 3 months old. Fries horrible. Looking at some of these reviews its hard to believe its the same place . . But believe me it is .I couldn't recommend this to anyone a 1 out of 10...

What's not to like? Good food, fast service and friendly staff. I had the Sunday chicken special, which was delicious and enough to share with my husband. He had a first for him, grouper gumbo, also excellent. A great place for seafood lovers and land lubbers alike. The view over the river and flats didn't hurt. This is obviously a favorite with locals, too.

It was our first time visiting this community. This restaurant has gotten great reviews and we found it to be a very good choice as well. Being a fishing villiage on the edge of the gulf we figured it had to be good. The town is made up of 350 full time residents that swells to 750 during the winter season. It sits right on lands end where the Suwanee River enters the Gulf of Mexico. Our server was from Fanning Springs several miles in land. We found the area charming and very much old Florida. The restaurant was very clean and friendly. The portions were very ample and tasty! I had the petite seafood boil and it was way more food than I expected. By the size of restaurant it was obvious that it served a wide area from many miles away and the boating population.

We love Salt Creek Restaurant! We love the fresh seafood, the friendly staff, and the great atmosphere! What we really love is that you can bring your own fish there and they will cook them for you! I give this a very deserving 5 stars!!

Really Beautiful place and I LOVE the fact that you can dine outside looking out on the water. I was fishing across the street so I only came here today to use the restroom with my niece. Going to come back to eat on my next visit, staff was very delightful and kind. Thank you

Crab cakes didn't taste right, but the clams were good. Fried blue crab claws were good but not a lot of them for the price.

There was great food, good service and a wonderful view of the water. Very laid back atmosphere. We will be back!

I gotta give this restaurant a good review.as my daughter brylee works here we'll....as of before Corona was going around and it shut everywhere down causing jobs to fly out the window.but I know she enjoys her job and is looking forward to getting back to work when all this passes. Quaint lil restaurant.beautiful views.

Seriously a true 5 stars, food was fresh cooked perfectly, the prime rib was cooked over a smoker had a fantastic taste and very tender. The others had seafood platters and could not eat it all. Friday Prime rib night, Saturday night fresh BBQ will definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys great food.

This is the best place in Suwannee, Dixie County Fl. with great views of Salt Creek and Gulf of Mexico.They have a large outdoor eating area with bar and large windows for dining in customers. I had the Blackened Grouper dinner. The Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger is great ! Clam Chowder is awesome ! The staff is friendly, great relaxing experience, We have eaten there several times, and will return.

Beautiful scenery. Great service. Definitely try the hot crab dip. Yummy😍
